Congratulations to Terry & Jennifer Cruise at 145 Oak View Place for winning the June 2008 Yard of the Month! Please take a walk or drive by and enjoy the beautiful lawn and garden greenery! Congrats, Cruise family! Great job!  The March 2008 winner of the Yard of the Month is at 129 Pine Isle Dr. The Johnson's have put a lot of work into their yard, and it has really paid off. Excellent job!  It is so enjoyable to watch each month to see who is nominated by the previous winner. Congratulations, Johnson family! The February 2008 winner of the Yard of the Month is at 138 Pine Isle Dr. Another deserving winner, Barbara always maintains a beautiful green and well manicured lawn even through the dry winters. Congratulations, and a job well done!!!
The January 2008 winner of the Yard of the Month is at 134 Oak View. This lawn is worth driving by if you haven't already. Nick has always maintained one of the most beautiful lawns in the neighborhood and has amazing landscape as well. Nick also designed the front landscaping by the pond. So, it is no surprise his lawn is as wonderful as it is!
The December 2007 winner of the Yard of the Month is at 129 Sterling Pine Street. A truly deserving winner, the Lachance family has done an exceptional job of maintaining their yard, from green, weed-free grass to well trimmed hedges and plant beddings. This family was nominated by our first winners for the year, the Bowen's. With one of the larger yards in the neighborhood, the Bowen family received the honor in November for doing such a great job on their entire yard!
Each month the winner of the Yard of the Month receives a gift certificate to Lowes as a thank you for doing such an outstanding job of maintaining their yard, and making Sterling Woods a more beautiful community. At the end of their 'reign' the winning family nominates another deserving yard for the honor. We look forward to carrying on the tradition and rewarding more families. There are many great lawns in the neighborhood. |
